Our sources
Rental listings, collected at the source.
We collect listings from property managers’ and owners’ public websites, then bring them into one format for your product.
Where the listings come from.
The Display Feed focuses on US rentals published by the people managing or leasing the property.
Property-manager websites
Available rentals published on managers’ own sites and their hosted listing pages.
Community leasing sites
Apartment communities publishing rental details and availability.
Owner websites
Rental homes and apartments published directly by owners and operators.
From a published listing to your feed.
Collect
Read the rental details published at the source.
Standardise
Map different source formats into a consistent listing schema.
Check weekly
Revisit the source and record successful verification dates.
Deliver changes
Supply additions, changes and removals in the agreed feed.
The source stays with the record.
Each record retains its source URL and verification timestamps. You can trace a listing back to the page that published it.
Explore the record fields →Freshness you can inspect.
Coverage figures use listings verified at the source within seven days of the measurement date. The feed is refreshed weekly. A failed source check alone does not establish that a listing has been removed.
How verification works →Know exactly what’s in your sample.
Coverage is strongest for professionally managed rentals. Individual-landlord listings, rooms and sublets are less represented. Field availability varies by source.
Consumer portal listings are excluded from the Display Feed. The separate Data API is for internal use and does not grant public display rights.
Rights are part of the agreement.
Your Display Feed licence sets the conditions for showing listings, descriptions and photos in your product, including attribution and links back to the source.
Review display rights →Looking for a particular platform?
Examples include AppFolio, Yardi, Entrata and Buildium. Confirm the inventory for your market in a sample.
HousingFeed is independent of these platforms. Naming a platform does not imply partnership.
