Where listings come from
Listings from managers' own websites, supplied under one licence.
The Display Feed carries rentals that property managers and owners publish themselves, on their own websites and the public listing pages of their management software. Not portal listings.
- What we read
- Public rental listings published by managers and owners. Nothing behind a login, no tenant or applicant data.
- How we keep it current
- Every source is re-read each week. A listing that is gone at its source is removed, and only listings verified in the last 30 days are supplied.
- What every record carries
- A link to the original listing page and the date we last verified it, so your users can always reach the source.
- What we promise managers
- Credit and a link back on every display, enquiries to the manager, and removal within seven days on request.
- What we promise you
- One licence from HousingFeed for listings, descriptions and photos, the removals passed on every week, and plain answers about any source in your scope.
Questions about sources.
Do you have an agreement with every website you read?
No. We read rental listings that managers and owners publish publicly and supply them under our own licence. Your licence comes from HousingFeed, under our terms. Managers can ask us to remove their listings at any time, and we pass removals on to you within seven days.
Are portal listings in the Display Feed?
No. Zillow, Apartments.com, Realtor.com, HotPads and other portals are excluded from the Display Feed by design.
What must we do when a listing is removed?
Apply the removed records from each weekly update and honour any removal request within seven days. See the licence terms →
