Short version: our listing records are about properties, not people, we use cookieless analytics, and we set no tracking cookies. The only personal data we hold about you is an email you choose to give us, and you can have it deleted with one message. Where a landlord published contact details in their own listing text, we reproduce that text and will remove it on request.

HousingFeed is a trading name of Simple Studio B.V., a private limited company incorporated in the Netherlands. Simple Studio B.V. is the controller for any personal data described on this page. HousingFeed aggregates rental listings from public property platforms and portals. Every record is about a property, not a person: address, rent, bedrooms, size, availability, a source URL, and a scrape timestamp. Our unified listing schema has no field for a landlord, agent, or applicant's name, phone number, or email address, so we never collect contact details as structured data, never build a contact database, and never sell or market to the people behind a listing. We hold no applicant or tenant data at all.
One honest caveat. Some records carry the listing description as the landlord or manager published it, and a minority of those descriptions contain a phone number, an email address, or a contact name that the publisher chose to put in their own public listing text. We reproduce that text rather than rewriting it, so where it identifies a person it is personal data and this policy applies to it. Our basis is legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in showing a listing as its publisher wrote it; the data comes from a page the publisher made public, we do not enrich, combine or re-purpose it, and our licence terms forbid customers from using the feed to contact landlords or managers for anything other than an end user's enquiry about a specific listing.
If a record identifies you, whether in a description or otherwise (a listing for a room in your own home, say), email us the listing URL. We remove it from the feed and notify customers to drop it from display, both within 7 days.

We do not sell personal data, we do not run advertising, and we never use your data for anything beyond what is listed above.
This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. Our analytics is cookieless. The live-chat widget (Crisp) sets a functional cookie strictly to keep your conversation attached to you, nothing more; if you never use the chat, ignore it or block it, the site works fine. To see which sites send us enquiries, the site remembers, for the current browser tab only, the website or campaign that referred you (for example google.com) and includes it with a sample request. It is kept in your browser's session storage, holds no identifier, and is deleted when you close the tab.
A small set of services process data on our behalf, each under its own GDPR-compliant terms: Netlify (hosting, US), Formspree (form delivery, US), Crisp (chat, EU), Simple Analytics (analytics, EU), Supabase (listings database, no personal data), and Apify (API runtime). Where a processor is outside the EU, transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
Under the GDPR you can ask us at any time to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw any consent. One email to hello@housingfeed.com does it, we reply within a business day and act within 30 days at the latest. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority; ours is the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
