Why HousingFeed is different

Rental data you can actually publish.

Not scraped from Zillow. Collected at the property's source and licensed for display.

Typical scraped feed

PortalScraperYour product

No display rights. Fragile sourcing. The listings are only as fresh as the last scrape.

Not licensable.

This is the Display Feed.

Who it is for

Built for products that show rentals.

Marketplaces, housing products, relocation and employer tools, AI assistants: anything that puts a rental in front of a person.

Launch a rental marketplace

Thousands of listings in your metros on day one, without signing property managers one at a time. Bay Area: 10,844 rows delivered in one schema.

Add rentals to a product you already have

Relocation, employer housing, student, fintech. Rentals become a feature, not a data operation.

Open the next city

Add a market to your order; the feed arrives in the schema you already ingest, usually the same week.

Build vs buy

Collecting the data is easy. Keeping it accurate is the hard part.

Without HousingFeed

  • Find the property managers in your market
  • Identify the software behind each site, sixty families and counting
  • Write and maintain an integration per family
  • Get blocked, buy proxies, get blocked again
  • Normalise sixty schemas into one
  • Deduplicate the same unit under three names
  • Re-check each listing weekly and remove the leased ones
  • Do it again for the next city

With HousingFeed

  • Choose your markets
  • Ingest one schema: CSV, JSON or API
  • Show the listings, attributed and linked to the source
  • Receive added, changed and removed records every week

The sample is the exact schema you license: the integration you build against it is the one you ship.

FAQ

The questions buyers ask first.

How does pricing work?

Pricing is scoped around the markets you need, the inventory available there and how the listings will be used in your product. Tell us what you are building and we come back with coverage, a sample and the commercial setup, usually within one business day. Month to month, the first 30 days free once you decide to integrate. No revenue share, no exclusivity.

Do you cover my city?

Type any state or metro into the market check at the top of this page for the current displayable count. Your sample gives the exact number for your ZIPs and the share of records with photos, coordinates and availability.

Can we display these listings?

Yes, in your own consumer-facing products, with attribution and a link back to each listing's source page. The standard licence terms are public and versioned.

Where do the listings come from?

From the websites and leasing software where property managers and owners publish their own vacancies: property-management systems, leasing-site builders, owner websites. We read each listing at its source and keep reading it every week. Consumer portals are never in the Display Feed.

What happens when a unit is leased?

Each listing is re-checked against its source weekly. When the source no longer lists it, the record is marked delisted and appears in the removed set of your next delta. A failed request never removes a listing; only the source does.

Do you have Zillow or Apartments.com listings?

We hold portal data for coverage measurement and for the Data API, and we do not license it for display: those rights are not ours to grant. The Display Feed is manager-direct only, by design.

How long does integration take?

One schema, delivered as CSV, JSON or API, with a stable id per unit and weekly added, changed and removed records. Teams with an existing listing model are usually showing records within a week of the sample. The rental listings API page walks through the mechanics.

Can we add another market later?

Yes. Add it to your order and it arrives in the same schema, usually the same week.

Can we show the photos?

Yes. Photos are displayed by reference to the URLs in the feed, the primary image plus the gallery where the source publishes one. You do not re-host them.

Which fields are reliable?

Address, rent, source URL and last-verified date are on nearly every record. Bedrooms, bathrooms, ZIP and size on most. Photos, coordinates, availability and descriptions vary by source. Your sample shows the exact share for your market before you sign.

Is it US only?

The Display Feed is United States today. The Data API also carries portal-derived data for 30 countries, for research and internal use.

Can we resell or redistribute the feed?

No. The licence covers display in your own products, with attribution and a link back to each source. Resale, sublicensing and white-labelling are excluded.
